Jesteśmy duchem roju, światłem w pęknięciach, piaskiem w klepsydrze, miejscem granicznym pomiędzy tobą i mną. Śnimy wspólny sen o ukorzenionym świecie, gdzie miejsce intuicji jest na piedestale obok rozumu, a duchowość wyzwolono; trzepot skrzydeł ćmy przesuwa granicę pamięci, obnażając prawdy, które już gdzieś w nas są. Przypomnij sobie usłyszaną w komforcie cienia melodię – to harmonia chaosu wprawia w rezonans wszystkie nasze czułe obszary.

Szacunek i uważność na siebie nawzajem sprawia, że porozumienie pojawia się poza systemami, także tymi językowymi, pozwalając nam współdziałać na podobieństwo organizmu – każdy z nas spełnia inną funkcję, a jednocześnie równoważymy się wzajemnie. Wspólnie tworzymy przestrzeń, w której każdy może swobodnie się wyrażać; odkryliśmy przy tym, że podejmowane przez nas opowieści dopełniają się, silnie splatając ze sobą nasze ścieżki i ubogacając nasze indywidualne twórcze zasoby. 

Prowadzimy rozważania o kondycji świata i człowieka, próbując jednocześnie odnaleźć się w rzeczywistości, którą zastaliśmy, wkraczając w dorosłość, a wobec której czujemy silną niezgodę. Chociaż przyjmujemy różne taktyki badawcze i twórcze, łączymy się w poszukiwaniu alternatywnych sposobów istnienia, a także mierzymy się z reperkusjami dorastania w świecie, który odziedziczyliśmy po poprzednich pokoleniach. Znajdujemy ukojenie w naturze, inspirując się jej rozwiązaniami i nieskończonym potencjałem odnowy. Zagłębiamy się w nasze ciała i jego potrzeby, badamy naturę wyobraźni, wspomnień i tożsamości, przyglądamy się subtelnym połączeniom pomiędzy nami i światem, zaglądając pod podszewkę rzeczywistości i wkraczając na pole ducha. Efektem tych badań i wspólnej nauki są prace wizualne w różnych technikach; na wystawie pojawią się prace video, fotografie wykonywane kamerą termowizyjną, książka artystyczna, kolaże, instalacje i rysunki. 

Wystawa to jednocześnie podsumowanie naszej nauki na studiach pierwszego stopnia kierunku Mediacja sztuki na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Eugeniusza Gepperta we Wrocławiu, a także inauguracja nowej, wspólnej ścieżki kolektywu Pozytywny Szwadron Życia i Śmierci.

We are the spirit of a swarm, the light in the crack, the sand in an hourglass, the between you and I. We dream a shared dream about the rooted world, where there’s a place for the intuition on the pedestal next to the mind and the spirituality is freed; the flaps of moth’s wings moves the border of memory, unveiling truths that already live within us. Remember the melody heard in the comfort of the shadow – the harmony of chaos resonates with all our sensitive areas.

Respect and mindfulness for each other make it possible to communicate outside the systems, including languages, and lets us coexist as an organism – everyone has their function and at the same time, we balance each other out. We co created space for free expression and through that we discovered that the stories we tell complete each other, intertwining our paths and enriching our individual creative resources.

We reflect on the condition of the world and a human, while at the same time trying to find ourselves in the reality that we found when entering adulthood, and towards which we feel a strong disagreement. While we adopt a variety of research and creative tactics, we join in the search for alternative ways of being and also face the repercussions of growing up in a world we have inherited from previous generations. We find solace in nature, inspired by its solutions and endless potential for renewal. We delve into our bodies and its needs, explore the nature of our imaginations, memories and identities, look at the subtle connections between us and the world, peeking under the lining of reality and entering the field of spirit. The result of this research and joint learning are visual works in various techniques; the exhibition will feature video works, photos taken with a thermal imaging camera, an art book, collages, installations and drawings.

The exhibition is a summary of learning at the first degree studies of Art Mediation at the Eugeniusz Geppert’s Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław as well as the inauguration of a new, common path for the collective of Positive Squadron of Life and Death.
