Yearning to wielowątkowa opowieść o świecie, za którym tęsknię. W akcie tkania łączę się ze wspomnieniem babci i rozliczam z rodzinnym dziedzictwem; jednocześnie tkanina jest opowieścią o świecie, który chciałabym tworzyć – w komitywie ze światem natury i społecznością, którą w trakcie tkania proszę o pomoc. Uczy mnie to tego, co potrzebne do uzdrowienia – gdy kończę plecenie, czerwoną nicią losu zszywam rozdarcie w odziedziczonej w spadku spódnicy.

„Yearning” is a multi-threaded story about a world I long for. In the act of weaving, I connect with the memory of my grandmother and reconcile with my family heritage; at the same time, the fabric tells a story of the world I wish to create – in harmony with nature and the community from whom I seek help during the weaving process. This teaches me what is needed for healing – when I finish braiding, I sew the tear in the inherited skirt with the red thread of fate.
